He highlighted that Christians, Muslims, and adherents of other faiths all share a common Creator of the heavens and the earth.

The lecture, titled "Submit Yourself to Whom God Has Shown Mercy," was presented by Fodhilat Sheikh Abdul Basit Olanrewaju Katibi Bello, also known as Aponle Anobi.

The event attracted a sizable audience, including notable figures such as Mrs. Oyindamola Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Kilamuwaye Badmus, Olowu Kehinde, Alhaji Saoty Arewa, Alhaja Azeezat Otibiya Reign, Tope Indomie, and MC Baba Labule.

Ajadi stated, "With both Ramadan and Lent occurring at the same time, we must embrace tolerance across our faiths. I personally embody both traditions—my father is Christian, and my mother is Muslim. Growing up, I attended the mosque and realized we all call upon the same God."

He added, "I celebrate with my Muslim family while being actively involved in my Christian community. There’s no need for conflict between these two religions. Today, Muslims and Christians unite to worship the same God, and that is the way forward."

Ajadi urged people to recognize the divine they serve, warning that ignorance can lead to misdirection.

"Understand who you are and the God you worship. To our politicians and leaders, please refrain from using religion to divide Nigerians for personal gain. We are one nation, and with peace, God will restore Nigeria’s lost dignity."
