The Kwara State Government, in partnership with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has called for strengthened cooperation in education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment. During a meeting in Ilorin, Nurudeen Adeyemi, a member of TETFund's Board of Trustees for the North Central zone, highlighted the alignment between the state’s focus on inclusive education and TETFund’s objective of fostering resilient institutions.

Adeyemi praised Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his notable achievements in infrastructure development, human capital investment, and prioritising education, including the establishment of the Kwara State University of Education—a groundbreaking initiative to promote teacher education and lifelong learning. He further underscored the importance of empowering youth through digital literacy, tech skills, and entrepreneurial training to succeed in the knowledge economy, describing this as pivotal to sustainable development.

Governor Abdulrazaq expressed his commitment to collaborating more closely with TETFund and other stakeholders to deliver impactful educational projects. Both parties concluded by stressing the need for continuous collaboration to achieve long-term objectives in education, innovation, and community growth within Kwara State and the broader North Central region.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
